1. Acceptance and Scope
These Terms govern use of frontlinecheckin.org, the Frontline Connect participant experience, registration and approval workflows, responder and administrative portals, notifications, and related services. By accessing or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms and incorporated policies.
2. Not Medical Care or Emergency Services
Frontline Connect provides wellness support, engagement, resource navigation, and safety escalation. It does not provide medical diagnosis, psychotherapy, emergency response, or guaranteed monitoring. In an emergency, call 911 or call/text 988; Veterans may press 1. The full scope and limitations of the platform are set out in the Emergency and Safety Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
3. AI-Assisted Service, Human Oversight, and Administrator Monitoring
The service uses artificial intelligence. AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, or inappropriate. Automated systems evaluate check-ins for potential safety concerns, and authorized support personnel may review elevated-risk content and contact the user. Users should not rely exclusively on AI output when making medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
Administrator access. Designated Frontline Connect application administrators have full access to chat logs and can monitor conversations, including in real time, for safety, security, quality-assurance, and operational purposes. This is separate from, and broader than, the elevated-risk alert process described above. See the Emergency and Safety Disclaimer for details.
4. Accounts and Access Codes
- Use only the account or code issued to you.
- Do not share, sell, transfer, or misuse access credentials.
- Test accounts must not be used to represent real participant data and may be excluded from analytics.
- We may suspend or revoke access to protect safety, privacy, data integrity, or system security.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, or unlawfully monitor another person.
- Do not attempt to bypass safeguards, access unauthorized information, introduce malicious code, or interfere with operations.
- Do not use the platform to conduct unapproved research, recruit participants, or export data without written authorization.
6. Intellectual Property
The platform, software, branding, documentation, and non-user content are owned or licensed by the applicable operating organization. Limited permission is granted solely for authorized use. Research publications, derivative tools, and jointly developed materials are governed by separate written agreements.
7. Privacy and Research
Use is subject to the Privacy Policy and Emergency and Safety Disclaimer. Formal research participation requires separate study-specific consent. Website or app acceptance alone does not constitute consent to every future research study.
8. Account Closure and Data Retention
Users may request account closure. Certain information may remain where retention is required for safety, law, audit, contractual compliance, or research integrity. De-identified information may not be attributable or removable after aggregation.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. No outcome, uninterrupted availability, or perfect classification is guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated and may require renewed acceptance. Contact information should be maintained on the website and within the platform.
